Hi,

I'm trying to use LDAPS for authentication on Solaris.

According to the logfile, SSL support is supposed to be available:

[Wed Oct 18 16:25:45 2006] [notice] LDAP: Built with OpenLDAP LDAP SDK
[Wed Oct 18 16:25:45 2006] [notice] LDAP: SSL support available

The OpenLDAP command line tool ldapsearch can connect to the directory by LDAPS, but authentication fails:

auth_ldap authenticate: user xxx authentication failed; URI /xxx [LDAP: ssl connections not supported][Can't contact LDAP server]

I have set "LDAPTrustedCA" and "LDAPTrustedCAType BASE64_FILE".

The same configuration does work on a Linux based Apache server.

Any ideas what else to look out for?

Thanks
Ulf
