[Auth_ldap] LDAP searches too large?

But are they larger?  According to MIS, an ActiveDirectory server isn't
allowed to return more than 1000 records.  However, we have over 1000
employees easily and this is what they claim is causing the issue.

Like I said though, searches using ldapsearch work fine.  I'm pretty much an
ldap neophyte, so I was curious as to where the actual filtering of the
results happens?  Is this something the client processes or is it something
the server does?
